Great you found a good used unit at a reasonable price !

And SB - the squared off rear tyre is a feeling I have grown used to for about two months now - my current rubber has met the road for almost the last time - the Metzler Z6's weren't too bad, giving me 12200 Km - not the best, which was the Michelin PR2 at 18500 but not bad - next set will be OEM Bridgestone BT57's - let's see how they do (when the transport strike is over and they are delivered)
Trucks are getting armed escorts - strike is nasty (and pointless IMO)

Sprock- You may need to road test that new sending unit. I suggest a meet up at the Dragon or Skyway on our way to Barber Vintage Festival. I prepped for the ride today. All the usual suspects with a coat of wax and a shine up on the GIVI set.
I'm sure no flu bug will want to stay with you too long just don't bring 'em along in the trunk box. Feel Better! ?

A just in time purchase for the USA Import 1987 CBR1000F with the help of Superman in disguise, Naga Thai.

A few parts came up for sale on eBay, so a behind the scenes deal secured them for me prior to me leaving for Vietnam tomorrow morning.

Just about all the parts needed to satisfy the regulatory bodies in South Australia, headlight and all indicators - all I need now is the tail light and brake lines We're getting there. The carb rebuild kits turned up from pmcg (thanks mate!), so things are looking good for when I return.

Cheers, SB

Ah Jimbo not quite out of the woods yet despite a few Kamikaze runs with
Bourbon - Not going to be able to make this one I'm afraid for all the
usual reasons.

Have a great and safe trip tho' man and regular updates are always
- mandatory

Nice haul there Seb, you and Naga are a Dynamic Duo in the area of
procuring hard to find Hurricane parts ......leave some for the rest of
us poor knowledge seekers

Think Naga should be getting the title of "Official QuarterMaster General"

Where's Shadow ?
