Ya, I'm gonna get a couple of dates to choose between within the next 2-3 weeks and we'll go from there. There aren't a whole lot of us, so if someone has a particular spring weekend that is a no-go, post up and we'll try to avoid it.

Default Riden

I will ride down. Its only 7 hours of straight riding. I can do that in a day if I go slow. And two 2 days if I go really slow, if Trout rides down or any one north of me I may ride east or west to meet up and ride down.

me too about 6 hours 55 mins at Indy's pace, and about week at Trouts slow azz old timer riding style.

I was going to trailer it .............. but then I'd only have to tow Trouts bike around all week and what would be the point in having to do that

I thought I calculated the trip taking me about 9 or 10hrs.... not bad.

And sprock, you're so full of chit.... you're totally gonna haul that thing through the dragon.
And I'd actually advise it in your case, because I don't think your old turd would make it there and back.....

I think Sprock left out a "1" in front of his 6 hours Should be more like 16 hours from Maine, Thats if you lived near Naples.

Spring in the Smokys is great. Other thoughts are meeting at another MC event. Mid Ohio Vintage Days or Honda GP in July. MotoGP in Indy. Barber Vintage in October, Birmingham. I'm wide open. I like the idea of meeting someplace that has great roads for a group ride vs an event, but maybe we could have both.
Never mind re: my post in that other thread...I just forgot your screen name is all.

Ok guys, so I'm thinking mid-May. I have a confirmed group rate at my buddy's bike-only camp ground (has cabins, is way cool, at the end of the Skyway). Here is my initial proposed date:

5/14 - 5/16

Please post your feedback. If I get a positive feedback I'll check on those dates again at the camp ground. We'll need to get folks to send a deposit of some sort to reserve the camping/cabin spots...that's a busy time of year. Let me know!
