Default Are there ever get-togethers?

There seem to be quite a few old time CBR1000F folks on here pretty regularly...does anyone ever get together for a weekend event or anything like that? I have a friend who owns a motorcycle-only campground w/ cabins etc. in Tellico Plains TN (far end of Cherohala Skyway, in Deal's Gap country), and I'd be happy to organize a spring ride/weekend around that place if anyone would be interested...?

Heck, even if we only got 5 or 6 guys, it wold still be fun. Thoughts?

I'd love to. I think it's a hell of a good idea.
Only problem has been how spread out we all are.
In fact, I've often thought about how messed up it is that we're all so far away from each other.
Australia, South Africa, UK, Indiana, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Maine, Conneticut, Carolinas, Canada, etc.

I'm 9.5hrs from you.... in Pennsylvania

Add Scotland, Estonia, New Zealand, OZZZtralia, Kenya, Nigeria, Georgia, Argentina, Mexico and NORWAY, SWEDEN, DENMARK (Just for Mike) and the list grows.......
Believe me if it was possible I'd be the first one there - nothing I'd like more than to hang out with all you reprobates for a week of riding.Maybe someone can put together a photoshop of all the bikes and riders in one picture....................
9,5 hours, Trout..................I'm about 14 hours by Boeing ! hehe

I understand that not everyone can make it for sure...but...Houston? Come on! I just rode my CBR3100 miles! You can make it! (trailers work too). PA? Come ON! I rode into and out or PA 4 times on my trip, you can make it too!!!

Who's out there who would plan a trip for a get-together? I know some of you are out there!

Ok, well I'll keep pestering folks a little over time, and heck, even if it's just a few people, at least it's fun to meet a new friend and do some fun riding!
