Default temperature ?

At What temperature should the fan turn on? Mine is about 3/4 across the scale but holds there when fan is on. Normal running temperature on the road is at about 1/4 Is this about normal?

Thanks for any input.
Fred

Mine comes on at about the 3/4 level, so I would'nt worry to much as each bike is putting out a different level of omhs to show what the gauge is reading. The fan should come on at approx 106 degrees, so as long as it works then leave it alone.

Mine works the same way. In traffic in S. Florida it gets really hot outside. It's not uncommon to see the temp go up and the fan kick on.
