How hot does your guy's bikes run? Mine is usually around 180 on Highway, but can get up to 220 F in the city.

Dude, I run mine alot in the city, It runs HOT! like parked at a long light I've already seen it @ 225 and the fan came on. I heard this,, if you run higher octane gas (which I do, 93), your bike runs hotter,, made me think,,, I'm gonna run 89 next time and see. I live in Texas so the hottest its been so far is like 83. So.... hope that helps a little..

Yea for sure. I run 91 and my bike got up to like 220 today. I was just making sure it was normal.

i run 92... my bikes goes up to 240 a lot during sunny days in traffic. something wrong with my bike or is this natural?

anyone ever thik of using water wetter? my cousins bike used to get up too 235 in traffic ever since hes used water wetter it never gets past 212

Don't sweat it, that's normal. Only if the temp gauge starts to flash you have somethin to worry about.

normal, im around 178 cruising highway, then goes up to 220-226 when sitting still (i think fan kicks on at 224) on a hot day or cruising in the town
