Default Stuck rebound adjuster

The rebound adjuster on my rear damper is completly stuck, any ideas how to get it turnable? Could a nut be MIG-welded on it to get better turning force, or will that melt down some internal o-rings?

I have heard of other members complaining about the same thing. What if you spray it down with penetrating oil, something like liquid wrench? I bet they get corroded and sand also gets in them.

Please don´t think I´m rude R1000 but can you be turning the wrong screw? There is many to choose from down there :-)

Possibly, the screw I'm trying to turn is near the bottom of the dampers right side and is reached thrue a hole in a bracket. The screw has a special head, or not even a head, more like a pin bolt with a cutted cross at the end.

I've also tried WD40 and oil for automatic transmission to penetrate a week without sucess []

The chassi behaves fine even though it appears to almost have no return damping, so I can just leave it as is.

If you're not riding the bike for a while and if you can get at the screw - get yourself some blu tac and build it up under the screw so you've got a little depression to fill with wd40. The screw should be submerged as much as possible in the wd and that should hopefully penetrate it.

I'd look for a replacement shock sounds like the dampener is frozen.
