alright as a update of new information, today i was riding, gunned it in first. Skipped like always. So this time i did a slow climb to 9000, skipped also in first so i began to wonder, maybe it is the ignition, so i tried the same in second gear, a slow climb into high rpms and no skip, same with 3rd too. Maybe something is up with 1st? haha what you all think? Also what do you recommend as the correct wiggle room for the chain. I have heard no more that 1 1/2 inch from up to down, but what do you all say?

I set mine at about 2.5cm which equates to about 1 inch. Might not be much, but as most girls will tell you, it's the last half inch that makes all the difference

^ in than case I take it you do that in warm weather Hawk when it's hot - the chain that is

I dunno other than all that has been covered above an you say is verified as checked out good
the only other thing I can think of internal to the gearbox would be a badly worn shift drum
and or bent shift forks in other words they beat the crap out of the poor girl before you got her.

Well I will start hunting parts for the coil and what not, adjust the chain, and hope that sprock is horribly wrong in his last post and the gear box is mint

yeah I 'm trying to figure out if you are saying it's misfiring/bogging down or cutting lose with the
gears or clutch - hard to discern the way you are saying things
