Default Hesitation at 8000 RPM

I am looking for some HELP. My 2002 954 has a hesitation when you hit 8000 rpm's at full throttle which starTed this week. Replaced servo and no luck any ideas

Which servo? Exhaust?

that would be my first guess. does it cut out completely, bog down or feel like a misfire? does it go past 8k if you're not at full throttle?

there would have been a code if it was anything to do with the servo....

Maybe check the plugs. Had that problem on my wifes r6 and problem solved.

Did you perform the exhaust valve check and adjustment after changing the servo? (section 5-92 in the service manual) Its possible the cables may be installed wrong on the servo or its not adjusted properly causing the valve to not fully open at 8k rpm.

it still throws a code. if the cables in any way interfere with the movement of the servo motor, it throws a code.
