Riser Bars
Hello all good people, I just joined today as I have lurked long enough.
I purchased a 1988 Hurricane 1000F over the summer and love to ride it. I'll post some pics when my camera is replaced. It is a great bike, but like all I have read, it is hard to get on the centerstand and the riding position is uncomfortable.
I am working on the centerstand issue, but can anyone tell me if the GenMar risers fit the 88 model? They list 91 onward, but do those fit the clip ons on my 1988?
Thank you for your responses, I am glad to be a new member of this group.

Hello and welcome.
Someone here before gave the tip that you can raise your original handles.
IĀ“ve tried that but was concerned with the safety issue.
Raising them 10-15mm gives another riding position and if you angle them outward it becomes even more comfortable.
I had some problems with advanced driving though so I put it back in original position but perhaps for a long touring I will raise them again.
