Removal of carburetor CBR 1000f

So, finally got the carburetor bank mounted again. It wasn't so difficult as I
had expected. Sat on the bike so not to push it of the centerstand but really it went
in quite smoothly after I lubricated the boots. Couldn't push it further in than what the picture shows so think it's alright.

Yes, but I think I ought to check the valve clearances first, just to be sure it
wont interfere, getting some new sparks and air filter too
And again thanks to all for help with advice and everything, this is in fact my first repair job ever on a bike and I have to say it has been really fun!

I'm a bit proud myself too but I wouldn't have made it without this forum so for that I'm thankful.
@Shadow
That's what I'm talking about I did in fact speak with a mechanic first and was planning to leave it at the shop but it would have been very expensive! Besides, as he said, if he was going to dismantle everything in order to get down to the carburetor he wouldn't change only one needle but ALL four. Although I said I only had problems with carb 1&2. (I understand the idea behind that, but I don't have any claims policy to take in consideration against any clients)
Now, it turned out that the needle was okay(hopefully) but who knows how high the bill would have ended..
Anyway, have to say that being able to fix it yourself and get to know your bike beats everything
