Ahaha, what is going on there? It looks like the stickers have been moved.

If I move my sticker to the good range (above the double arrow), will that fix my problem?
Almost certainly! I find that moving the goalposts ensures a 100% success rate. It's only the older bike that has been "tinkered" with, the new one is I presume, spot on.

But it does show for you that the chain wasn't changed with the sprocket and does go somewhere to answering your original question?

How much would, for example, going from a 42 rear to a 44 rear make a change to the chain adjusted length?

Right now I have this new chain/front sprocket that the previous owner installed, i'm guessing he got too long of a chain (or changed the front teeth count). I'm adjusted to the redzone...I would love more torque, so my easy and cheap solution is change the rear sprocket...I just want to get it ordered right the first time. Do you think a 44 would keep me in the adjusted range? (I have a 42 on there).
Cheers,

Rob
Do you think he just installed the wrong length chain? Something so obvious shouldn't be lied about when selling something, eh? Although this is America...and wherever he ordered the chain from were probably a bunch of morons, and thats nothing new.

Oh yeah, will going two teeth bigger on the rear sprocket make a difference to the adjusted length?

This may have to be tested by me...
