Exclamation Problem..

Hi guys,

I have an annoying problem with my cbr1000f ('95) Hurricane.
Every now and then during a cold start (with choke), the bike runs for a while then slowly dies. Restarting the bike takes time as it seems to be flooded. Some times when I feel the revs dying, I can push it off the centre stand and jam on the front brakes. This tends to allow the revs to build up again.

Has anyone experienced this before, and if so what did you do?

Replace your failing battery and check your charging system

If you leave the choke on as she warms , as she gets warmer and warmer , she will flood revs will drop and she will stop !!

Try , just inching the choke back a tiny bit at a time once the revs start to drop or even before she starts showing any temp on the gauge .....
S'what I do 7/8 , then 5/8, 1/4 done

I put it on full choke for about 30secs, then turn it off and I'm good to go.
Once in a while it will act a little funny in really cold weather, but 99% of the time it's no problem.

Tell us how you make out with this, EQ..
