Petrol Prices
Petrol last year in Queensland Australia was $ 1.00 a litre with reward programs etc you could get down to $ 0.90 a litre and now fuel has come down a few cents but on th enews the other day I heard to could be up to $2.00 a litre by chrristmas. There are a lot of loyality programs around currently we have one when we get up to 15 cents a litre off. We are a very lucky country.
There always someone saying that it going to be bad and the world would end by next xmas, but Live for today.
I could easily deal with a $3.00 petrol price, wouldn’t like it, but I could handle it.

Yes you are right but unlike many countries we have had it too good for a long time here in Aus and I myself have a 100 ks trip to the next town unfortunately we dont have a regular public transport system in the rural town unlike the cities, so thats why I sold a couple of my toys ( Boat and second car ) so that I could enjoy the CBR
If the price for gasoline would rise to $ 3, my gas cost would increase with about $ 7000 per year, just for the car driving, I would not be really happy with that. To cover such cost increase by higher salory in Sweden, it would require $ 20 000 increased salory per year before tax. Just wanted to put it into our perspective.
I forgot, Sweden has high taxes, for me, my fuel spending is abot 4.5k to 5k which I would take it out of my gross before Tax.
My point was that you could get through

I left proserpine (on the east coast Bruce Highway in queensland australia) at $1.29/L and headed west on the weekend. Filled up at $1.36/L and then again at $1.43/L.
Fuel for the weekend around $75/80. Flat tyre with no repair kit = pumping up at each fuel station and riding to the next one until the spike fell out and the air rushed out as fast as i could put it in. $40 to get a mate with a trailer to pick me up to get me home... tyre is screwed now, but it was already too old so it's forced me to get a new road pilot 170/60 for $290. Rim is luckily undamaged!
Expensive weekend... but like rx7man says (not an actual quote)... if you come away with a smile on ur face, it is well worth it!
I don't go to pubs much Rx7man, they are where people dream about the way we live our lives
