Hi can anyone help, my petrol tap seized up (luckily) in the on position on my 93 f2 Is the tap serviceable The front of the tap seems to be pop riveted and the rear has screws I removed the plastic tap and tried to move the unit both ways with grips but it just wont move

I had the same problem a while back. Somebody told me to squeeze the rivits together with vise-grips to fix it , and it worked for a few weeks but then it was back to the same problem. I ordered a new one from cycle therapy but you can prolly find them cheaper on ebay. Good Luck
