Oil Filter interchangeability
Has anyone tried any of the filters sugested on the following links?
I was hoping that my local auto parts store would have some of the auto filters, but I haven't found any yet.

RE: Oil Filter interchangeability
The Calsci site is an excellent site with lots of good information relating to oil and filters. I'm currently using the Purolator Pure One PL14610 on my '94 1000F. It's a little longer than the factory, but provides more filter material than the original. I'm using the PL14612 for my wifes '97 600F3 because the clearance between the filter and the header pipes is a little close for comfort. On my 1000F the filter is closer to the header pipes, but not so close that it poses a problem with overheating the filter. I've used 3 of these PL14610's and 3 of the PL14612's each. Highly recommend.

RE: Oil Filter interchangeability
Hey IDODIRT, aren't the white/black/red 94's the best! ..... Thanks for the PureOne add. I wanted to go that direction last oil change but hadn't found anyone who used them. The PureOne has very good technical reviews, I use them in all the cars, with MOBIL 1 oil.
