In my defence, she mainly gets used to take me to work n back. A journey in which it takes me longer to put my gear on than actually do the run, and warm those tyres up.... Sheeshhhh, I've had a few 'brown' moments caused by forgetting the tyres are cold, and when it's wet.............

(note to self: must try better next time)

My commute is about 15.5miles, but too many straights and stoplights. It kind-of sucks.
Soo..I decided to experiment with riding around and finding alternate routes.

The best one I found so far is about 20miles, but all backroad twisties. It takes me between 5-10mins longer, but dam it's worth it...

With my old junk front, it didn't feel very safe leaning super hard. Now, I can already tell it's gonna be 100% better. Just a few more miles to scrub, and I'll be hammerin' on that ****..

btw, I've seen much worse chicken strips than yours, mo...

OK guys , I got my new tyre today and fitted the rear wheel back on . Took the opportunity to clean everything up and give the rear wheel a quick squirt of paint . So I've got a nice clean sprocket and hub carrier . Check out the depth of that tread!!!!

A nice clean hub carrier

And a nice clean sprocket

The problem now is , it looks so good it makes the swingarm look like crap , so I think this winter I'm gonna have to get the wheels and swingarm powder coated

hey!
the first time I changed a motorcycle tire, it almost looked as bad as that first picture!.
You could see the metal and everything (although it wasn't as big of a patch, hehe)
