Question tyre mix.

hi..i recently acquired a cbr1000f 1994, everything seems fine however i noticed the front tyre is a avon storm and the rear is a avon azzaro..ive noticed nothing wrong in the handling. just wondering would this decision to mix be based on the bikes heavy front end or just a personal preference? thanks in advance.

It's more likely just a deal where the rear wore out before the front and he got whatever was available or on sale... lol..

Anyway, very nice ride and welcome to the CBRF! We have a ton of 1000F riders (myself included), so stop by the Hurricane section and say hello.

True. Although I was running a PR2 rear with a Qualifier front for quite a while until I switched to a matching front this morning....
