Default New guy with old Hurricane

Or that could be old guy with old Hurricane.

I bought this new in 88. It has been sitting for a few years now. I have decided that it is time to bring it out of retirement. So, I am hoping to spend some time here picking brains and finding parts.

Finding parts for this is almost ashard (almost, but not quite)as finding parts for the 75 Norton I am restoring.

Anyhow, up in the New guy section I was told to come on down and say hi.

These pics were taken last summer. Box stock and unmolested. Except for the 1000 stickers I took off of the lower side fairings right after I got it. At the time it was to ba a little more stealthy. Not many of these bikes around in 88.

If anyone needs photos of anything in particular to help with their restroration, let me know and I will try to take some for you.

Welcome! Very nice ride. Looks like a bike to be proud of. When the Norton's done that will make two to be proud of.Shadow was right to send you here. I've seen many forums & this is the best I've found. Great people not afraid to impart a little info. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Hello again, Bob !
Give us a list of the parts you need and let's see what we can do - the ability of our members to find Hurricane parts is pretty fair.....we've had a lot of practice !!
If you need the manual, look at
> http://members.iinet.net.au/~cbr/Hon...Manual.pdf>
OR
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/midlife/i...ice_Manual.pdf
Hope it works -
