I check the wiring and still cant figure out why the netural light is stuck on while i am riding the bike, im pretty sure the wiring should be the problem but i cant figure it out, maybe one of you has had the same trouble or similar but im ganna continue to check the wiring hope one of you guys have an idea why

 

Your neutral switch is grounding out. Gimme me a little bit to study the wiring diagram.

 

Have you actually pulled the neutral switch (located on the bottom of the engine, pretty much centered under the clutch housing) to see if it is still good?
It's #11 in this diagram or look on page 10-14 of the service manual and look for #15



Looking at the wiring diagram, the only way for the light to come on is for the switch to make a ground connection to the crankcase. I'd pull the switch and test it to see if it is stuck on the whole time. Looks like it might be a pressure switch that rotates off the gearshift drum. (i.e.: when the drum moves into neutral, a pin on the switch falls into a hole on the drum, completing the circuit for the switch). The good thing is that if the switch is toast, it's only around $15 to replace.

 

Ill look into that but for some strange reason i think it has something to do with the IC module b/c after that was replaced it started to do this but yeah i was looking at prices and found it to be between 15-20$ hopefully it nothing to to big but even then i know it wont hurt it to drive while its like that, but i was also told by a guy around my area that it could be the connetion under the left side faring (the center one) and i just said to my self if it was that it wouldnt work at all duhh! lol but thanks for the reply and if there are any other idea out there dont hesitate to reply.

I have a somewhat similar issue on my 96 1000F. After I replaced the regulator rectifier the neutral lights come on in any gearwhen I pull the clutch all the way in. Before the replacement it had been sitting for a while. The neutral lights willcome on afterpulling in the clutch say three quartersand will go off at the same point when clutch is released..But it does not stay on except when in neutral. I was thinking it may be my clutch being out of adjustment but the clutch works fine.
Out of disgust I got a lighter 04 CBR 1000 RR about2 months ago and have since not started the 1000F.I will be keenly following how you solve this.

Wait, so your saying that you can start the bike in gear (neutral light on), without pulling in the clutch and having the kickstand up?

And no i cant start the bike in any gear but netural, after riding all kinds of bikes since i was bout 7 and racing dirt bikes for a longgggg time you can just tell where netural is. But i can start my bike with the kick stand down cause i disengaged the wireing but if i was to take of and forget to put up the kickstand it will light up and let me know. The netural light is always on from the moment i put the key in and turn it to ON and stays on till i turn the key to OFF wether or not im riding or not its always on tomorrow ill have some time to check it out but right now i just got into VA with my bike and im ganna go to bed.
