i cant get these fairings used anywhere i am just thinking about giving in and spending 1k for the new ones but thats more then i paid for the bike anyone have any ideas maybe putting different plastics on and conversons out there with newer pieces or different parts from other bikes

You'll have to check the history from about 8 months ago, but one of our Scandinavian members fitted a Blackbird upper fairing/cowling to his bike.

That looks awsome guys thanks for the info i think thats the way i am gonna have to go i have been calling all over the us and canada for parts this bike is not the common i guess everyone says the rarely get them but now i have ideas I will post pics and if anyone else has any sugestions let me know thansk again

I hate to give out free plugs but these guys HOOKED ME UP!!!! Rockwell Performance somewhere in TX, found one for my 91 CBR1000F. It was brand new and shipped for $495. It retailed for over $700. If you want more info feel free to write.
