Hi everyone. I am starting a project for the winter. I picked up a 1993 cbr 1000f and I am having trouble finding a few parts for it. I need the whole upper cowl. I have the headlight and brackets but none of the upper plastics. I also need front blinkers and rear ones if anyone can recommend good after markets ones for the bike i will post pictures of the front of the bike and what i think i need. Thanks

Best options would be to look up part numbers at www.mrcycles.com
www.bikebandit.com
www.ronayers.com
As you're in the US, maybe local parts shops or e-Bay...............
This may also help - the works manual
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/midlife/i...ice_Manual.pdf
Enjoy - give us a list and we'll help you look.

Welcome to the Hurricanes !

I wouldn't mod the blinkers, 707 - you could have a stress related problem at speed, unless you close up the holes..........

I have been watching for a good upper cowl for mine and after 6 months of calling salvage yards have decided to just save up the 500+$ and buy new

Let me know when you can find a whole upper cowl for anywhere near $500. I just checked ronayers, and a whole upper cowl goes for around $1k
