Default Melted fuze?

in disassembling and trying to repair my electrical system, the first thing I noticed is that my 30 amp fuse at the solenoid is melted on one side. The entire casing is melted, in fact. Any idea why that might have happened? could I be improperly grounded, perhaps? I'm not running any peripherals on the bike, so I wouldn't think I'd be overloading the system. Like i said, a new reg/rec recently. Not sure what else to try. Still no main power. I've got power going through the newly rewired fuse and, like before, to everywhere on the bike I can test. I'm confident this bike is possessed and am about to try the smoking of banana leaves method. Or the pushing it off an embankment method. Not sure which yet.

Send a PM to DeanO or check previous posts - it's happened before.

Something is obviously drawing too much amperage to be melting your fuse like that. Check all your earth's or grounds and ensure they are in good contact. Possible your starter is drawing too many amps too , Do you have a good quality meter to check resistance on the circut?
