Default Major dam clutch issues.

Alright so my clutch was slipping, I ordered a full kit from bike bandit, ebc, Kevlar.

I installed the first time, clutch was stiffer, but when I released the clutch, nothing.
I decided to take everything out and redo it.
So I pulled all the clutches and steels out, reread the how to. Reinstalled everything, torqued the bolts to 9 ft.

Now the clutch lever is nearly impossible to pull in and I still have nothing on release.

I checked the spring height, all are the same and look same as oem, counted the clutches and steels, same number same clutches and steels.

I'm at a loss I'm sure I missed something.
Please help me guys I'm at a loss.

Sounds like the clutch in the fully released position. If everything the kit you purchased is the right one, and if everything is installed correctly, then take a look at the clutch lifter rod to make sure it will retract to the engaged position. If not you probably need to go to the left side of your bike and check out the slave cylinder.

I have seen wheel cylinders so badly corroded/crudded that once the piston traveled to full out position it wouldn't retract. Not much experience with clutch slave cylinders, but maybe . . .

+1 with DRram, check the push rod (or lifter rod) check its not bent or corroded, take the slave cylinder off and check the piston moves in and out freely and isn't gummed up to start with

There's one plate , the first one that is a bit different than the others - make sure it's
first in the order to go on.

Alright I figured out the issue, everything was installed correctly. I forgot to bleed the slave cylinder. Go me, bled it and all is well mostly NO SLIPPING CLUTCH! Yay!

That's weird since what you said initially was
"clutch lever is nearly impossible to pull in".

Nice to hear it was that simple
