Default Love my Bike

Just wanted to say i love my bike

After driving tens of new and used bikes, i still enjoy my '90 cbr,
i would not change a thing. No wonder they manufactured this
model for 13? years.

Bravo!!!
It is a fun bike to ride!! I love mine and have been asked multiple times if I would sell it. You already know the answer, NO NO NO!! I will buy another bike around it, but I will not sell my 1000F!! No way. I would be miserable..

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who loves his ride.. I really like stuffing guys on newer bikes that think the old workhorse is just heavy and slow!! Hehehehe.. Suprise, you just got stuffed by an oldie.

My buddy just went out and bought a '05 Sprint ST. Sweet ride!! And he tried to blast off away from me and leave me in the dust in some twisties one day, when he looked up he was smelling my exhaust fumes as I blasted right past him at full lean. The next thing I know he was researching reviews on the peformance specs of my bike trying to figure out how it is so fast. Hahahahaha.. Don't underestinmate the beast, she handles like a dream!! Just keep in mind, she likes throttle through the turns, and u will be fine!

Happy Riding fellow CBR 1000F riders!!

Hey FireFox, did you ride the new ST05? I really love the looks of the bike and would love to pick one up some year once I can afford it, I've always liked the look if the Sprints.

Hey Geoffv,
Yeah I rode the ST05, are you kidding?? I have always liked the looks of it too. With that undertail exhaust is looks wicked! The funny thing about it, is the riding position. Compared to my CBR, it feels like I'm riding "On top" of the bike instead of becoming one with it. Very different feeling. But it has a great sounds and the power is impressive. That triple pulls pretty good. I think I'm gonna have to ride it again to get a better opinion..

FireFox thanks for the feedback,
If you get more time on the ST let me know, since I am very curious on the comparisons. For my next ride I'll be looking into the ST Sprint, SV1000, VFR (maybe, not sure if I'll like the Vtech) and the FZ1 or FZ6. I'm scheduled to do 600 plus miles this weekend all back roads in VT and hitting some great twisties on the way, can't wait. I'v gotta pull out my touring bags and get my bike ready.

Default Dont think i will sell my CBR1000F

I love my 96 CBR1000F, my missus loves the bike and refers to it as the baby , my dad loves it and says its a well engineered machine (high complements from my old man) my mum says it looks like a real bobby dazzler !, my Aunty says its a impressive machine and my mates cannot keep up and are secretly jealous.
I cant fault it ! the bike seems to look after me and my pillion and its comfy as well as having the ability to cruse at 100+, yes I would like to own a GSX1300R but I would not sell my CBR to get it.
CBR1000F Is very forgiving to the ham fisted and its well built, I feel the bike is often overlooked for the ZZR etc but I feel a similar type of machine would have spat me off or broken down by now.

Mine spat me off thru my own stupidity, however I still love it. Oh and when all that weight throws you into a steel road barrier it hurts. Most of my mates luv the CBR's too, except one that rides a Busa!
