Blackbird peg kit does work but needs modification, I had to do a little grinding to make them work and also drill out the pin hole a little larger, not a bad deal and they work well.

Buell foot pegs do work and fitting is the same as the Blackbird/VFR

Started mine this morning not quite finished but you get the idea my bro made some spacers on his lathe to convert the pegs 11mm hole to fit the 8mm pin of the CBR.

The only thing is the spikes underneath stick out a bit too much for my liking so may have another mod before long

I have aquestion for the members that dropped the pegs. How does it effect the foot controls?
Is there enough adjustment to make them feel ok?

Yes enough adjustment for me, I've just had the front part of my seat made higher, about an inch so may need a it more adjustment.

Yes, as I remember it's possible, just minor mods needed..........

Geting old, memory's fading...**** !
Check www.mrcycles.com and compare the footpeg system on the 88 with later models - I think they are the same, though.

ORIGINAL: Flogger

Sorry if this has been posted about before, but there are so many of us looking to lower the footpegs, and I did not like the look of the Buell conversion. I found these on another site, and have just ordered some.....
