red line
Hey there to all my fellow riders..quick inquiry...
I am the owner of a{Mint} 95 model bought off my mechanic who bought it off an airliner captain, who had it imported from somewhere in europe{to Israel},I personnally think this is a restricted model{to 100HP},for various reasons{runs smooth, quite and beautiful},but looking at CBR photos from around the world I noticed that only my bike has a red line starting at 6500RPM{leading the way to main red line at 10500RPM..
Is this some special model for some special country??

RE: red line
So it doesn't look like this ?
Perhaps the original owner had different face plates fitted to the gauges, or maybe an earlier model revcounter faceplate ?
A picture of your gauges may help......
If you download the workshop manual in my siggy you can perhaps find a reference to the engine numbers by year, and find out where it came from - some of the German models were restricted to 100HP, but I didn't know they had a different rev counter.

Thanks man 4 the info..will get a pic in soon, what I understood is that the original owner kept the bike in in its original state{except for the screen},I got the bike with its original screen, indicators{seperate, because the indicators are built into the Krauser rack, honda tools and manual},anyway the bike now has 90000kms on it,runs as the first day it left the factory{doesnt eat a drop of oil between services}everything is tight and as should be..love it...haveridden manybikes{Fazer1000,Z750,fazer600,ZZR600,Blackbird 1100xx,katana1100F,V-Max}and the 1000F suits me best...thanks again..
