LED turn signal flasher

LED turn signal flasher
Iv'e converted my bike to all LED lighting, but its a no go with the stock flasher (too fast). I bought an electronic flasher but I can't get it to work on the bike. I know I could wire in resistors to slow the flash rate, but that's a last resort. Has anybody been successful at making this work.

RE: LED turn signal flasher
I am not sure but I think the rapid flashing is brought on by too heavy of a load. I believe the flashing is due to a bi-metal strip that heats up with current, breaking the continuity until it cools. What happens if you only pass one signal through the flasher? In other words run four flashers.
I am just guessing.

I ordered one of these to slow down the flash interval to the stockflash rate.

I replaced the stock signal relay and ispretty simple to install. VFX Kits seems to be a pretty cool place. I was looking at their "Flash Equalizer PRO" which was over twice the cost, they recommended the new, much cheaper flasher relay. How many companies out there would talk you down from the higher price item, to a more inexpensive product?
You may have to go with their universal model and connect your own wires, but they have kits with the plugs already installed for late model bikes. The connector may still be the same, I would shoot them an email and ask. They are very quick to respond and very friendly.
