I think my fuel pump is bad.. replacement options?

What about removing the pump completely?

Could the bike pull the fuel it needs via gravity?

Good question. My 1990 uses gravity, but maybe the petcock is different, and the float needle and seat diameter could be different.

why is the relay so different from other relays at an auto shop?
its just a current activated switch, any old relay will do.

i can help you work through it if you like, i have an 87 with a $5 relay installed, not a honda genuine.

take out the pump and let gravity do its thing. i know of 3 bikes running this way right now.
