Fuel pump went out on my bike lastnight. I've found OEM replacements for about $100. But no places have them in stock. About 4-7 days before they would ship. Was wondering if a universal pump would work? Most part stores have them.in stock. And what kinda pressure would have have to produce?

Found one at the house I had from a previous project. Brand new Napa pump in box. Says it'll flow 1-4psi. Will that work temporary untilled the OEM one ships? Weathers to nice and im itchin to ride. Haha.

 

Yep, it'll work.

You can also go w/o the pump but you'd need to keep a good level of gas in your tank. ;-)

 

honda4u has way better prices than bikebandit.

geese some times I feel like I'm just shamelessly promoting them. But really prices are cheap.
