1000 miles into my 1200 mile trip my electric fuel pump gave up the ghost.

it just makes little squeaky clicking noises and I can't do anything but idle.


Where can I find a replacement for a 1988 CBR1000 fuel pump?

Universal one from autoparts store work? If so - what psi range to get?

The 87-88 1000F uses a fuel pump, but my 1990 doesn't. Does anyone know if the 88 can get by without a fuel pump?
