Default Hurricane damaged in theft attempt

Hey guys! Last night someone stole my daughter and my dirt bikes off my back poarch. A little Honda 70 and Kawasaki 125.

They pushed the Hurricane to another part of my yard and began ripping it to pieces; seat, plastics, battery, wiring, etc. But as far as I can tell, everything is still there, including the battery, which was laying on the ground.

im probably going to need some advice when I start piecing it back together. Mainly electrical help. I saw three wires hanging from the left side of the handle bars that were ripped out.

i think the plasstics will be ok, just mainly electrical to get it running.

I will start on it tomorrow, so will keep you guys posted.

They even stole my helmet!!

My FZ1 was parked where they couldnt see it, so at least I can still ride.

Bastards .................... Got a big surprise for 'em if they tried that here.

Keep us in the loop as you put her back.

Maybe your homeowners insurance will cover the others

Wow.
That sucks.
Did you file a police report? If you didn't, you should.
Your homeowners insurance should cover that. Even with a $1000 deductible...it'd probably be worth it.
I wish you luck on this one, bud.
I wonder why the hell they ****ed with the 'Cane??? Musta thought they could hotwire it.
Dumbasses.

I did file a police report. They dusted for prints but didnt get any.

I put the battery back in and turned on the switch to see what would happen-but no lights or anything. So obvious wiring damage. Hopefully tomorrow I can spend some time putting the bike back together and see what wiring damage there is. Im worried some other plastic components are damaged like the anti freeze resovoir and things like that.
