Thank you for the support guys!! I got her back together yesterday. Sorry but jumped on the project so fast I didnt take any pics yet. Had to pull the ignition out and splice the wires back together. Got the air cleaner, coolant resovoir, master fuse, and other plastics fitted back together. Im a little uncertain exactly how the master fuse sits and coolant overflow line runs, but I have it in the general location.

They actually pulled on the corbin seat so hard, it broke the locking hasp on the bottom of the seat. Ordered another one today.

The 2 bikes they did steal were a little Honda 70 and a Kawasaki 125 that my 11 year old daughter and I play on. Whats sad is I had just got those 2 bikes running in tip top shape by cleaning the carbs and lots of other maintenance.

One guy has been caught. The night before I got hit, he stole a police officers FZ6 who lives one block from me. Used that bike to break in a store and was caught on video. Word is my 2 little bikes have been sold to drug dealers. Went riding through the drug dealers neighborhood but didnt see anything. My daughter is heart broken about losing her bikes, but we will replace them one day.

Again thanks guys! Will get some pics of her back together and post.

Well that was a bad move on the BG's part, now wasn't it.
Glad they got one of them. There's a good chance that he'll sing like a bird, too, so maybe they'll have the other guy by the end of next week.

Have you considered reporting all this to your insurance? I mean, I know how it is if the 2 bikes were old and you have a $1000 deductible or something, but it may be worth it?

Thanks for the update, bud, and I'm glad that you have some good news.

Hey Bicklebok , this is real bad news , hope you get the 'cane running soon and that really sucks about your daughters bike!

You never know , if the *** hole they caught sings , there may be a chance of getting the missing bikes back . Hope so , keep your chin up mate

Why can't I be a Court officer in your neighborhood..................
Pleeeeese !
Bastard wouldn't see the light of day ever again................
That I can promise you.
I'd find all the crimes in your street for the last 5 years and pin them all on him and his mate................
If he's a crackhead, he'd be loved longtime !!!

I'd be the same way... fixin' her ASAP.
Pics might be nice for the cops or insurance....but the last thing on my mind.

Sounds like I wouldn't want to be a criminal in shadowman's vacinity!

Hey guys!! There's more to the story after yesterday. The guy that was arrested said the 2 dirt bikes were sold to a drug dealer and then sold again in another neighborhood about 15 miles from my house. Yesterday my girfirend and I decided to go riding in that neighborhood on my FZ1 while we were out riding. And by sheer luck we see a teenager come riding down the street on my daughter's Honda 70. I turned around and chased him while my girlfriend had a cell phone in her helmet calling the police!! We caught him and got both bikes back!! They have both been abused and wrecked with broken parts and bent metal, but they are repairable.

Here she is after I pieced her back together. Everything is good with her so far, except for the seat latch.
