How to lift bike?

Alright, here's what I did in case anyone runs into the same problem. I first put the bike on the center stand, then under the bike, towards the front, coming off the oil pan, I noticed there are 2 long metal spikes, I used those spikes to lift the front of the bike off the ground enough to slip the forks out of the steering triple. I also used a strap on each side/and put the bike in gear (its on rear tire) just to make sure it wont fall.
I did not remove the exhaust as it just barely clears, haha! =)
Bad news though, I found out my rim/rotors are bent...I wonder if the calipers are ok too.... =(

Does anyone know the size of the nut on the steering triple? My guess it looks like a 30~mm

Exactly how I do it. I believe I use a small section of 4"x4" on the floor jack. The 4"x4" slips in-between # 2&3 head pipes.
