Why do you want to go faster? They are plenty fast as they are. At least mine is. Tomorrow I go to see the judge. He will most likely pull my license for a while. BTW, I was riding with my brother who was on a ZZR1200. He to will be having his license pulled.

I think it may just be the perception of speed (or lack of it). The CBR is so efficient and quiet, I am beginning to think the howl of the ZZR1100 made the bike seem faster. Does that make sense?? I find the CBR just does not give me the adrenelin fix that the ZZR did, because it's soooo good!

Anyway, sorry to hear you are up before the judge... what speed were you doing, and what is the likely penalty "across the pond"?

what is the best(easiest) way to get more wheelie power without having to change out my chain? should i go up in back or down in front? i'm thinking my best option would be to go -2 in front, but i don't know if that would cause too much chain slack.

I'm running 16/43 which is supposed to be -1/+2 from stock and I can clutch it up fine in first at low speed, have had no luck in second at any speed. Also, the chain is easy to fix! If there is too much play take some links out!

I've put a K&N Air filter on mine and a full Predator exhaust system, bike has a more noticeable takeoff and more mid range torque. Also knocks about 6kg of the weight as the factory pipes are very heavy.
