IS THEIR AWAY TO MAKE THE F4I FASTER AND GET MORE HORSE POWER? THE ONLY THING THAT I HAVE DONE IS PUT A K&N FILTER. I REALLY THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE INFO ON MOVING UP IN CLASS, I GUESS YOU GUYSARERIGHT WHEN YOUSAY THAT I SHOULD TAKE A FEW MORE YEARS TO LEARN HOW TO RIDE BEFORE I MOVE UP. I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE MY BIKE A LITLE FASTER IF I COULD AND GET MORE HORSE POWER? DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW MUCH HORSE POWER THE 2001 CBR F4I HAS?THANKS!

 

around 95 hp stock. get an exhaust/powercommander and have it tuned. that will be a major upgrade

 

If you do some track days and develop your riding skill, you can pick better lines, brake later and get on the throttle sooner going through turns. That will make the bike faster.

Or you can dump money into a full exhaust, and remap the FI for your new air filter and exhaust.

 

i think you should learn to ride it before u try to make it faster, better to be fast on a slow bike than slow on a fast bike, go buy an r1, and then ride it with some fast guys on 600s on some twisties, then post how that dumb that made you feel here.

 

Get rid of the stock exhaust since its heavy. Maybe get some carbon. Take off that ugly tail that the bikes comes with and get an undertail.

Change your sprocket but you might lose your torque a bit.

Power commander
K&N filter
Polished rims
Integrator
Undertail. All that crap.
Racing brakes and Rearsets
Damper.

I was happy. I miss that bike. lol.

 

I'm with a previous poster - you can make anF4i MUCH faster with a track day.

 

It depends which way you are going with the sprocket. If you increase the rear you will increase the torques and decrease top speed and vice versa.

I wouldnt recommend a full exhaust, your low and mid range rmps will become sluggish. If you are an average street rider then I would not go with that system.

How hard are you hitting the higher rmps?
Most people just get an after market exhaust and a powercommander. This will optimize the bikes performance. If you want to do engine mods than I would say just get 1k. It makes way more sense to upgrade to 1liter than wasting money on a 600.

 

Custom paint and LEDs or neon makes any bike faster...

and dont forget the stickers!

 

if thats the case than i have the fastest 600 in the world.
i dont have many stickers, just one big one for aerodymanic affect.

 

I'd do three things:

Take off the caps lock button
Sell me the bike cheap
Buy a liter bike.
