how to bleed the clutch?????
#21
no I used shell t3, I am worried that its the clutch plates, but atleast I will know that they are done. I have been briefly looking online what is the best? Thanks
Oh BTW it slips as soon as I ****** the throttle, it will start to climb in speed then it will just rev a bit.

.... what if the poor guy has no gloves on? and had just eaten a chit load of greasy Kentucky Fly-ed Chicken bare handed ! ? .......hu ???
Om sure that would make his clutch - hand slip mate !!!!
ok , its getting late in the evening here and that's the best I can come up with !! .....

ok one side note before I head to work, I did notice that when my clutch was/is engaging with like the last 1/4" when I release my clutch handle. Before I worked on my bike it was like the last inch or so. It seems so far out. Could this be air in the line? or worn clutch.

Yu know what they say ....
If it ain't broke don't fix it !! and if it was ok before , it should be ok now if you only have only ****ed with the fluid....and she was ok before...
The plates did not sneak out while you were not looking by themselves and have a bad **** night on the town doing clutch wheelies everywhere so that they could get replaced with nice new ones .... lolol
It will be still a little AIR in the lines "prolly ?"...

Thats what i was thinking, i ride my bike hard, but not to the limits, and before my wreck i could ****** all the way up to 10 k no prob no slips, now she slips all the time. I think ill try n bleed the clutch, but i have tomorrow off so i could pop the clutch out and see if she's toast. And when i say she's slipping all the time, i just got back from a ride and was barley able to get home. She slips with just the smallest amount of throttle. Its wierd, i thought the clutch wiuld have slowly gone out, not all at once.

But its probably Melba by now if he let it slip as it does not take much to fry them beyond no return.

I thought you meant that it was engaging 1/4" from the handle bar !! not at the end of letting it out ...!
If it is engaging at the end of letting it out , then you have a full load of fluid , no probs !!
Chit , that really means that Air is not probably the issue now ...!
Because it was ok before you started all this , it should not be slipping now for no reason ??
Sounds like no free play in the master or slave but that's not possible !
Sheesh , did you by any chance do an oil change while ****ing with the clutch ??
BTW , as ...CBR1988 said , if it is slipping for what ever reason , I would not be ridding her , let alone running high RPM test runs on her..
.. buring the crap out of the plates will be the result of type of riding while she is slipping that is for sure !!
...
