I REALLY get the attitude from people when I happen to be the guitarist for a particular show.
Sounds like somebody may be a little jealous, maybe?
I know how hard that stuff is, and so do they. Just smile and be really nice. They'll hate that!!
I played trombone for like 2 years. Mostly because they have that long slide and I could hit the guy in front of me in the back of the head with it.

Oh, man..
I hate it when people do crappy electrical work. What a pita when you find it and have to fix it...

I look at some of the repair jobs these people do and it's like "Really? You're OK with doing that to a machine that's ALREADY a death trap, and then getting on it?"

I could've come and screwed with your electrics! I bet I could'a got your bike not to work in like 3 seconds

Haha! That would have been excellent! But trust me, it's able to do that just fine on it's own.

JohnnyX don't forget too in Hawkwinds world it's 220v DC ........
not much room for error doing electrical around the house over there
