Default HELP electrical problem

Hello everyone. I went out for a ride today on my 1993 and all of the sudden it just shut off. I have no power and the battery is brand new. I checked the fuse box and all the fuses are good. Is there a main fuse or relay that i need to check. Thanks!

Alex

You may have the same problem as me.

This is the soleniod, but is also the main fuse. It is on the RHS under the removable fairng. The fuse may be blown or the connector itself blackened from the current and old age.

I had a similar problemwhen Ireplaced stock bulbs with higher wattage halogens. It melted the wires at the solenoid.Location: remove the seat, and find itnext to the right side of the battery box.Under nearest panel secured by oneplastic tab and one screw.

The 1st thing the guy asked me was did I have bigger globes in there. (not that I do) The fuse may not blow with the bigger bulbs, but the bike just cant handle it aparently.
