Mine aren't the real thing, but they work well. They were a gift from JC Whitney when I ordered some Jeep stuff over 25 years ago. Same problem here, though I have long, bony fingers that get cold real fast, in the 40's F probably. I was going to try the clear plastic shields that attach to the mirror mounts on my VTX...seems if I block the wind, it'll be much better. I have also been researching heated gloves, but would need to do some wiring for a power point.

I used to say the same thing until I tried the heated grips and I can honestly say that it is one of the best accessories you can add to your bike. Not a hard install and you will be toasty warm all the time, take my work for it you won't be sorry!!!! Gary C.
