Default Gas Tank Issue

Over the past 3 months, I have noticed that when I park her for a day or two with more than half a tank of gas in her, she seems to be leaking a little bit of fuel from around the front seam of the tank. Just above the welded-on plate with the 2 holes for bolting it to the frame behind the steering pivot.

I seem to recall this being brought up before on the board. Does anyone have a good fix for this short of replacing the tank?

It is more of an annoyance than a problem at this stage, but I worry that over time it will only get worse.

Yup, had exactly the same problem. I had my tank ceramic coated over here, but there are better products available in the US.

I tried all sorts to seal it from outside without any success.
If you do seal it from inside, remember there's an airway which comes out on the rider side of the gascap, under the lip. You must push something up the tube to keep it open before the coating has been done, or you'll have fuel delivery problems........due to vacuum.
