Default OK angle?

Hey all after 15 years I bought another 1000F. It's in tidy condition but the the kick stand seems to be leaning the bike too much. I've checked the stand and it's secure, no bends, loose nuts or wobble but leaving it on the stand looks concerning.

Is this normal? I honestly can't remember what my old one was like. My new bike is a 1995 model.

It does look like it leans a bit further than normal, but not excessively. So long as it's secure, there's no problem.

I normally pop a small section of wood under my stand anyway.

Looks OK.

I had bike that was almost vertical with stand down. Had to be careful or wind would blow it over. Also had to park front-in or back-in depending upon which way road was banked.

OK cheers, I'm just paranoid of leaving it as it's such a heavy tank..

It'll ride high if the front fork springs are changed to firmer ones, like RaceTech. Sometimes the spring spacers are too long afterwards, and the bike rides high.

+1 on this. I'd rather she leaned further to the left and was good and steady, too high and it can always go over the other way.
BTW very good looking example.
