Different Exhaust

Different Exhaust
I was wanting to know if anyone has seen an exhaust this short. I just bought this bike and the exhaust is REALLY short and LOUD. It looks like a production and not someones "personal" modifications. But after looking at other models, I have yet to see any this short. Also, do they make any single-tip exhausts for this bike and does anyone have the link? Sorry for so many ?'s but I this is my first.

RE: Different Exhaust
are you sure its not an old Formula 1 exhaust?

I had one on an old GSXR and it was short & stubby like that.

That looks like them. Its been awhile. I remember them from an old dennis kirk catalog back when I was looking for an exhaust for a 86 xj600 radian a few years ago. Maybe you could do a search on e-bay? Somebody might have something with that exhaust. That would be my only guess.

RE: Different Exhaust
Hi:
I had a a buddy that had those f1 slip ons on his bike and they were as loud as the full Yosh race system on my bike. I thought they were a
little 2 loud, as was my Yosh system. So I went to a V&H SSR2 full system which I like, but sound is very different for all, what some think is too
loud others think is too quiet. or just right. The tones you hear and feel make the all the difference in the riding experience. I ride mine a lot of
long distance and use ear plugs for the air & exhuast noise, but some pipes still seem loud to me. Also my local cul de sac probally like the V&H
or Microns on my bikes better as well, as I work alot of late nites.
