Default Coolant

Hi there, I was wondering what other 1000 owner use in the cooling system, by reading the manual it says 50 / 50 water and coolant but doesnt say a type to use any ideas please.

I believe standard ethylene glycol antifreeze/coolant is fine, distilled water recommended to prevent calcium buildup in the block, etc

Thanks for that I purchased the Castrol antifreeze as thougth it best to purchase a product made for bikes and not skimp on a product made for car motors so I made the contents up in a 2 litre milk container and have plently if needed.

It is important that the coolant is for aluminium engines.
I used Valvoline AF extreme that clearly says so.

I believe ethylene glycol coolants are for aluminum engines, anything nowadays will be compatible with aluminum
