Choke spring that goes between the carb on far left and the middle. I rebuilt my carbs jets floats etc all went great for first time. Love of god though can't figure how the spring fits.

That spring where does the other part attach on the opposite side.

 

From what I can see in the picture, it appears to be mounted correctly, just upside down. On my f3, the end of the spring that is more square mounts on the top of the assembly. If you can provide a closer picture of that area we may be able to see more detail.
