Default Can the position of the rear brake pedal be changed?

Hi everyone,

I find the rear brake pedal a little too high, can anyone tell me if these things are adjustable?

Many thanks
Phil

If you just want the end of the pedal to be lower - then YES - the link bar from the pedal to the master cylinder has a threaded adjuster. If you shorten the rod - the pedal will go lower.

If you want the pedal pivot point ( and footpeg ) to be lower - then NO.

I have a -90 (europe)model and mine was also too high so i adjusted the link and i also had to adjust the switch to the breaklight so it turns on at the right level/time. Just move the cowl...then you see how easy it is to adjust.

Believe this must be a common problem. When I first got the CBR my was adjusted so high I could ride with the tip of my boot under the brake pedal. A bad habit to get into so I adjust it down as far as it would go and it is still just a little too high to suit me. But much better than it was
