Default Cam chain type?

Last summer, my camchain snapped in half after about 40k of service.
I already read some posts on this forum that call for DID SCA-0412A-SDH type camchain, but all I can find is the SDHA version. Does anyone out there know if the SDHA type would work?

Thanks

Yeas it will - it's a 152 link chain - you'll have to remove two pins.

No valves bent eh ?

I was worried about it because I'm not gonna lay down $120 for a chain just to have it break a few hundred miles down the road.

As for bent valves, i'm assuming not...Won't know for sure until I do a compression test though. However, I cranked it over and it sounded like it had decent compression.

Thanks for your reply though

Wow! You're more game than I am. If you've got no cam chain and managed to crank the engine and not do damage to (some) valves and pistons... whew, you must have lady luck sitting on your shoulder..?

Yes it will work. Your detailed answer is here "PREPARING THE REPLACEMENT CAM CHAIN – CBR1000F" on link below.
