Default Brake Pads

I inspected my brakes the other day, one of my back pads is almost shot and the other is about 50%,

Would this uneven wear be caused by a dirty caliper, and should I strip it and clean it, or should I just run a new set of pads and live with it.

The back disc shows signs of thinning, so I should get the disc measured.

I don't think the caliper is at fault. I would check the pin that the pads slide on. Mine had a groove that prevented smooth movement. The pin's only a couple bucks, but the dealer has to order them. In the meantime, put a tiny bit of wheel bearing grease along the pin, mark the end, and screw it back in, trying to get the unworn side of the pin toward the front of the bike.

Thanks
I'll look for that,
Pads on order, but I want to have the new ones in before this weekend as the old one looks very low

I change my back pads; one was worn more than the other and both were worn on a little bit on an angle;
After change them, the bike seamed to drag a bit and I lost my back brake after about 10k's
After the bike had sat for a bit, the brake came good.

I rang the shop and they said that one of the piston has become dirty and need to be removed and cleaned.
The brakes were always on a bit and the brake fluid was boiling and therefore the brakes would fail
the bike is now in the shop. They indicated that this was not a big job
They also said that the chrome plates on the back of the new pads should be left on. (I had removed them cause The pads wouldn’t fit otherwise).

Got the bike back, all is good now
$200 but they reckon the brakes now work really well.
