Yeah, it was worse when I first recieved it. It was originally red, then sat in a aircraft paint shop for a year and had overspray all over it which made it pink. I gave up on trying to find a new swingarm which would have turned into changing the chain and brake line. I rode it once and since it has been sitting on a charger. Any takers?

You could find another swing arm on e-Bay, and shorten the chain easily enough with an anglegrinder or Dremel, making it a viable project. It would also be a lot easier to sell with a right-length arm at the back, and you'd probably recover what you spend on a swing arm and then some. As TBT says, another log on the fire ...... I'd have a go, if it was here.....
Some bigger pics of the bike would help, and we could then perhaps have some ideas for improvements.....it's been done successfully before.....by guys on the forum.

I'm really not too worried about making it look better. I never planned on keeping it, my 73 RD350 does just fine for now (until I get myHarley). Here in the southern US, I see stretched out bikes all the time. My best bet for selling this is to craigs list it locally. If I get 500 usd out of it, I'll be happy. The whole project was a learning expierence and I'll take that as well.

Hey guys I know it's been quite awhile since I posted in my home section, but most of you know, I have been laid up with brain surgery and leaving the Marine Corps. I would like to thank
Kikepizfor starting the thread under off topic, welcoming me back. I have notice with every new post I made over the last couple of days. Everything got sidetracked with questions about my Marine Corps career and my brain surgery. So I am making aneffort to keep threads on track in this section I will post a link here at the bottom that answers most of your questions. If you're wondering at all.

Now to business at hand, has anyone heard from
grwilson6. I always thought he'd done a hell of a job on the conversion on his bike. Here is a link to it https://cbrforum.com/m_134067/tm.htm
