RE: Any Hurricane conversions to sportier looks?
There is a earlier post where Kaasari shows how he repairs/rebuilds the bike after crash.

RE: Any Hurricane conversions to sportier looks?
If I could find another CBR1000F in fair condition, I'd like to have a go - thanks Kaasari for the offer - I went back and read through your report: truly, an outstanding effort....thanks Blue1000F for info... I'd like to rebuild the front end BUT I'd also remould the tail section, to make it more streamlined - perhaps use a FireBlade or (horrors)! a 996 Ducati tailpiece, and make it a single-seater......uprate the brakes for sure....perhaps an 1150 Wiseco big bore kit.....any other suggestions, now that we seem to have hijacked the original thread ?(sorry kikepiz) A friend of mine rebuilt a CBX magnum with Ducati nose and tail sections, widened swingarm and uprated motor, and it's quicker than my CBR....and gorgeous......but whatever I attempt it won't come anywhere close to what Kaasari did with a wrecked bike and no parts.......and a 3 piece collarbone...!
