Update on the sound, still haven't found the problem, now the bike is in winter storage, full tank and the battery removed, the water pump is now leaking coolant, not a lot, air temp related, winter storage, the space is limited, just look at the video, lifting the back into place, or the door cannot be closed, is hard, next spring i am back on the problem.

Now I don't hear the ticking. I hear more of a whirling noise.

Whirling, whirling, whirling whirling...heavy breathing....whirling, whirling, whirling whirling...heavy breathing.....whirling, whirling, whirling whirling...heavy breathing, a turn of the key...heavy breathing CLICK and lights out.

I would say diet and exercise will get you in shape for that spring fling with the bike.

I have an 89 with 60,000km on it and mine ticks like mad to. Its the CCT with mine though. I look at it this way. As long as it has the right amount of engine oil and is of high quality, just ride the thing and dont concern yourself with every little noise it makes. Its a Honda motor buddy. Just get on it and ride it. Cheers.
